Men of Faith (Built On Rock)

The Catholic Men's Fellowship of Greater Greensburg is a lay ministry organization drawing Catholic men from several parishes throughout the Diocese of Greensburg who meet every Saturday morning. We gather to reflect and share from sound Catholic reading teachings while strengthening each other through fellowship. We are Catholic men who seek to become better men of faith through greater individual accountability guided by Christian principles and values as espoused by the Holy Father and the doctrines of Roman Catholic Church. We maintain a diocesan relationship through the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation, who is the bishop’s representative assigned to the CMF of Greater Greensburg and its affiliates within the Diocese of Greensburg. We come together in an atmosphere of openness, trust, and respect. We unconditionally accept each other and provide support of encouragement, hope, and prayer for one another. You are welcome to join us!

We Commit Ourselves To:

Grow spiritually closer to the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Encourage our brothers and challenge each other to strive to a life of holiness.
To defend our Catholic Faith by deepening our understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith and its teachings.
Embrace our leadership role as husbands, fathers, single men to our wives, children and families to grow spiritually as one.
To do what Jesus tells us by putting out into deep waters our faith so that others may come to know and love Jesus as we do.
To be obedient to our Holy Father and the Bishops in communion with the Holy Father including our Bishop Lawrence Brandt.

They are meeting together in large and small groups, sharing their burdens, listening to each other's stories, and celebrating Eucharist. Call it a revival, an awakening. Call it a work of the Holy Spirit at the grassroots level. The emergence of new ministries with men is a welcome development within the Church. Lay leaders in these new ministries are asking their bishops and parish priests for support, involvement, and leadership.
