Creed

Our Creed: Credo, Adoro, Amo (I believe, I adore, I love)

Credo: I believe, Lord, that you are truly, substantially present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar; the same God incarnate who became like us in all things, except sin, and redeemed us by your supreme act of love on Calvary.

Credo: I believe. What else could I do? You have the words of eternal life: “Take this, all of you, and eat it: this is my body. Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven.”

Credo: I believe, Lord, increase my faith.

Adoro: I adore you, Lord, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End of my life, without whose Divine Providence I could not draw a breath or move a limb. All that I am, all that I have, I owe to you. Without you I am nothing and can do nothing. You are my God and my all. Help me to be totally dedicated to you. I offer myself as your hands and feet to run errands of charity in your name. Yes, I give myself to you as a living tool in your hands – as your slave if need be.

Adoro: I adore you, O Lord, with every fiber of my being.

Amo: I love you, O Lord, with my whole heart and soul, not for what you will give me but for what you are, Infinite Love. If I cannot love you with the immaculate love of your Blessed Mother, give me the grace to love you with the penitent heart of a Magdalene. If I cannot love you with the angelic love of a Saint John, give me the grace to love you with the penitent heart of a Peter.

Amo: I love you, O Lord, with my whole hear and soul.
