Mission
The mission of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Greater Greensburg draws its inspiration from Pope Benedict XVI who reminds us that Catholic men and families must be “resolved to encourage Christian homes to form an upright moral conscience, which will help them, strengthened by God's grace, to follow faithfully his will which he revealed to us through Jesus Christ and has inscribed in the depths of every person's heart.” (Letter to Cardinal Trujillo on the occasion of the World Meeting of Families - October 1 2007). We believe we are all disciples of Christ, and are called to respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit that engages us to a renewed and richer relationship with our Lord. We believe we must begin with ourselves as true Catholic men, recognizing our sinfulness, but resolved to become holy men of God through His grace. We believe that our personal mission requires us to evangelize and to be re-evangelized, beginning with our own families. We also believe that if can diligently work to eradicate sin in our lives and grow in virtues, we can allow the light of Christ to shine out in us as a beacon for others in a world permeated by the culture of death.
